Dr. Ángel García Cortés is a urologist and andrologist in Valencia. He holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Navarra and completed his training as a Medical Resident at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra (2015-2020). He is currently the medical director of Andrology Valencia and an attending urologist at the Instituto Valenciano de Oncología (IVO).
He has a Master’s degree in Andrology and Reconstructive Surgery of the Male Genital Area and is a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU).
Dr. García Cortés specializes in prostate cancer, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as sexual medicine, erectile dysfunction, and andrology at the Instituto Valenciano de Oncología (IVO) since January 2022, after his experience at the Hospital Reina Sofía in Tudela in 2020.
His training includes a stay in Andrology at the Fundación Jiménez Díaz in Madrid and a specialization course in Andrology and Urogenital Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona. Additionally, he completed a Fellowship at the Instituto Valenciano de Oncología and advanced courses in Biostatistics in Biomedical Research.
He has been a Professor in Specialization-MASTER courses in Surgical Nursing and Hospital Nursing at the School of Nursing, University of Navarra.
A speaker at national and international conferences, Dr. García Cortés is dedicated to research and training in urological surgery, andrology, and erectile dysfunction.
